PSYCHOTHERAPY IN ENGLISH

In our center we offer counseling and professional psychotherapeutic help that could focus on different issues, e.g.:

• emotional and behavioral disorders,

• difficulties in coping with stress

• psychosomatic disorders,

• low self-esteem,

• decision making process,

• problems in adapting to living in a foreign country,

• problems in interpersonal relationships (lack of satisfaction in close relationships: with parents, children, spouse, partner), e.g. communication problems, 

• life crises, e.g. death of an important person, serious illness, loss of work

• post-traumatic stress, trauma

• personality disorders,

• insomnia, sleep disturbances,

• a loss of meaning in life,

• feeling of isolation, loneliness.

We offer psychological assessment, individual therapy and couple therapy in English.

Psychological assessment usually includes 2-3 meetings. During this meetings we collect information about the Client's situation. During consultations we interview with Client and we ask to fill up psychological questionnaires which will help us to collect extra data about Client’s situation. The result of the meetings are psychological diagnosis and recommendations for further work.

Individual psychotherapy is conducted in different approaches which are  chosen according to the client's preferences or / and due to recommendation after a psychological consultations. This is regular therapeutic work, which usually takes place once a week, based on a contract agreed with the client. Individual psychotherapy can last few weeks, months or years - depends on issue Client and psychotherapist work on. Individual psychotherapy is a method of treatment and/or development facilitation based on relationship with the therapist.
